Deirdre Unger advises companies on international procurement and financing agencies, export controls, customs and international trade matters. She is experienced in the areas of export licensing requirements for the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. State Department, U.S. Customs regulations, and requirements for international government and commercial contracts. She has assisted clients with import/export compliance programs.
Deirdre Unger's areas of experience include: export control laws; trade sanctions and embargoes; international procurement issues; requirements for contracts awarded under programs of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, the Agency for International Development (AID), the Export-Import Bank, and the World Bank; customs audits; tariff classification; valuation of imports; and country of origin marking.
